Grand Lodge of the Czech Republic "Alphonse Mucha" Lodge no.7 Prague
created as a triangle on 21st March 1997
Lodge "Alphonse Mucha" has been created by French speaking Brethren residing in the Czech Republic. Without any distinction of nationality, having in mind the prosperity of the Order and desirous to assist in spreading the true principles of the Royal Art, the aim of the Brethren of this lodge is to provide mutual Masonic instruction to each other, while contributing in a fraternal manner to strengthen the bonds between French and Czech Freemasons. The lodge works usually in the French language, but meetings are held in English occasionally, especially when receiving visitors from abroad. The lodge meets monthly upon convocation, in principle the 3rd or 4th Friday of each month except in July and August. All regular Freemasons, recognised as such by the Grand Lodge of the Czech Republic , either on a short stay in Prague or residing here for a longer period, are cordially invited to attend the lodge meetings, but are expected to announce their participation in advance for the good organisation. The Grand Lodge of the Czech Republic is recognised by the United Grand Lodge of England, by the Grand Lodge of Scotland, by the Grand Lodge of Ireland, by most of the Grand Lodges in the United States of America and by more than 140 Grand Lodges worldwide with whom fraternal relations have already been established |
